Call for Marie Curie Early Stage Researchers at the AMRC, University of Sheffield

29 September 2014

The University of Sheffield AMRC builds on the success of the original Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre with Boeing, creating a cluster of industry-focused manufacturing R&D centres and supporting facilities. The AMRC with Boeing, established in 2001, has grown to become a world-leading centre of advanced machining and materials research for aerospace and other high-value sectors. It has around 70 industrial members, from global giants such as Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems and Messier-Bugatti-Dowty, to local small businesses.

As part of the SMART-E programme, the AMRC is advertising a post for an ESR to work on the development of real-time monitoring systems for 'Swarm Cell' machining operations.
